GrowthAssistant, LLC is hiring a Video Editor (Paid Social) to edit simple UGC-style ads for paid social campaigns. You will follow briefs, add captions and light graphics, and create ad variations under the guidance of the Creative Director, aligned to Pacific hours.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of paid social editing, strong Premiere Pro skills, basic After Effects, and a sharp eye for on‑brand text and buttons. This is a fully remote role with growth opportunities.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Video Editor (Paid Social) for a leading telehealth company — editing simple, well-briefed UGC-style video ads for paid social from creator and brand shoot footage, and turning approved ads into new variations. You'll work from clear creative briefs and reference examples, following direction from the Creative Director on Pacific business hours.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• Simple UGC-Style Edits: Edit simple UGC-style video ads for paid social from creator footage and brand shoot footage — straightforward cuts, well-briefed, no complex editing.
• Captions & Light Graphics: Add subtitles, captions, and light on-screen graphics with clean, simple cuts and no heavy transitions or effects.
• Ad Variations: Iterate off existing assets and reference videos to create new ad variations based on creative briefs.
• Direction & Style Matching: Follow direction and reference examples from the Creative Director and match the look of approved UGC ads.
• Simple Motion Graphics: Animate static images into simple motion graphics, such as text and buttons animating in.
• Brand Shoot Cut-Downs: Edit footage from brand shoots down into multiple ad cuts.
• Room to Grow: Over time, provide light static ad design support (if design skills are present) and organize and file edited assets and project files for the creative team.

What You Bring

• Paid Social Editing Experience: 2+ years editing short-form video for paid social.
• Adobe Proficiency: Proficient in Premiere Pro (cuts, captions, pacing), with basic After Effects for simple text and button animation.
• Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail — clean, on-brand placement of text, buttons, and elements.
• Schedule: Ability to work Pacific (PST) business hours.

Bonus Points if:

• You have experience with AI tools such as Descript or Adobe Enhance.
• You have graphic design skills (Photoshop / Illustrator) for static ad support.
• You have experience editing for health, wellness, or telehealth brands.

Sign-on Bonus: $300 bonus upon successful completion of the first 90 days of employment
