Job summary
Advanced Energy in Cavite is seeking a Process Engineer (Packaging) to develop innovative, cost-effective packaging solutions that protect products throughout manufacturing, storage, and distribution. You will lead design, material selection, validation testing, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The role supports New Product Introduction (NPI), continuous improvement, and sustainability initiatives, aligning with ISO and quality systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in packaging design or packaging engineering.
- Hands-on experience with packaging materials (corrugated boards, foam, plastics).
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of material properties and packaging standards.
- Willing to work onsite in Rosario, Cavite.
Responsibilities
- Packaging design and development for diverse components and materials.
- Develop specifications, drawings, BOMs, and documentation control.
- Perform testing and validation per standards (ASTM/ISTA/ISO).
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Product Engineering.
- Lead packaging-related Kaizen/5S improvements and cost optimizations.
- Support NPI and ensure regulatory and sustainability compliance.
