Peerless Products Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Packaging Engineer to design, develop, and optimize packaging solutions that protect products, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets quality, safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes designing and validating packaging, selecting materials, and driving cost-saving improvements while maintaining thorough documentation and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in packaging design or engineering.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and testing methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging solutions for new and existing products
• Conduct testing and validation of packaging materials and designs (e.g., durability, transport, shelf life)
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through packaging optimization
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams
• Evaluate and select packaging materials (e.g., corrugated, plastics, films, etc.)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for packaging efficiency and sustainability
• Review and improve packaging processes to reduce waste and damage
• Maintain accurate documentation, specifications, and reports
