Job summary

NES Fircroft, a global engineering staffing provider, seeks an experienced Heavy Lift Logistics Manager in the Philippines to oversee complex transport projects. You will lead fleets, coordinate routes, and ensure safety, compliance, and timely delivery across sites and authorities.

The role requires senior expertise in oversized cargo, team leadership, and cost control, with preference for local knowledge and English proficiency to liaise with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy lift logistics / oversized cargo transportation.
• Local heavy lift logistics management experience in the Philippines preferred.
• Familiar with the full process of oversized, overweight, and irregular cargo transportation projects.
• Familiar with management and deployment of heavy transport vehicles, hydraulic modular trailers, prime movers, and related resources.
• Strong capabilities in team management, project coordination, on-site command, and emergency handling.
• Strong awareness of cost control, risk management, and client communication.
• Candidates with management experience in transportation companies are preferred.
• Local Filipino employees are preferred.
• English proficiency is preferred as a working language.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall operation and management of heavy lift logistics and transportation projects in the Philippines.
• Directly manage heavy transport fleets and related teams to ensure transportation safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Develop and optimize heavy cargo transportation plans, including route survey, loading/unloading arrangements, escort coordination, and contingency plans.
• Be familiar with local traffic regulations, oversized/overweight transportation policies, and permit approval procedures in the Philippines to ensure legal and compliant project execution.
• Coordinate with government authorities, ports, customs, police, suppliers, clients, and project sites to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Identify transportation risks, strengthen safety control, and handle emergencies and unexpected issues during project execution.

Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall operation and management of heavy lift logistics and transportation projects in the Philippines.
• Directly manage heavy transport fleets and related teams to ensure transportation safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Develop and optimize heavy cargo transportation plans, including route survey, loading/unloading arrangements, escort coordination, and contingency plans.
• Be familiar with local traffic regulations, oversized/overweight transportation policies, and permit approval procedures in the Philippines to ensure legal and compliant project execution.
• Coordinate with government authorities, ports, customs, police, suppliers, clients, and project sites to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Identify transportation risks, strengthen safety control, and handle emergencies and unexpected issues during project execution.
• Manage daily operations of fleet personnel, including training, performance evaluation, and team development.
• Be responsible for transportation cost control, operational analysis, and efficiency improvement.
• Complete other related tasks assigned by the company.
