Job summary

SPH Media Limited is seeking a proactive Telemarketer & Roadshow Support Assistant on a 6-month temporary contract to support subscription acquisition and on-ground activation events. The role emphasizes outbound calling to win back subscribers and acquire new customers, plus operational support for roadshows.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in telemarketing or event support, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in telemarketing, event support, retail, or related customer-facing roles (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a confident and engaging telephone manner.
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
Basic proficiency in data tracking and handling, as well as system navigation for order processing.
Resourceful and able to work independently or in a team.
Ability to work evenings and weekends for event coverage.

Responsibilities

Outbound Calling & Win-Back Campaigns: Contact subscribers lapsed within the past 3 months to promote premium offers and drive resubscription.
Lead Acquisition: Engage prospective leads via outbound calls with tailored subscription packages to grow the reader base.
Onsite Event Support: Assist with subscription processing, customer enquiries, and administrative setup during roadshows and activation events.
Administrative & Ad-hoc Duties: Perform general administrative tasks and support additional projects as assigned by the supervisor.
