Job summary

ADDFORCE HR SOLUTIONS INC is seeking an experienced Medical Coder for an onsite night shift at Alabang Corporate Center, Muntinlupa. You will code medical records with CPT, ICD-10 and modifiers, ensuring accurate submissions and HIPAA compliance.

Requirements include at least 1 year in SDS/ED/Ambulatory or Observation coding, multi-specialty experience, and CPC/COC/CCS or equivalent. Night differential and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with coding multi-specialty charts.
• CPC, COC, or CCS or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately code medical records using CPT, ICD-10, and modifier codes.
• Maintain compliance with coding standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ensure claims are coded properly to avoid denials and ensure clean submission.
• Meet or exceed accuracy and efficiency benchmarks set by the client.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve coding discrepancies.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality in line with HIPAA requirements.
• Adhere to ISMS, EHS, EMS and DPA policies and procedures.
• Report security incidents and address audit findings within required timelines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Job Description

• Accurately code the medical records using appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and modifier codes.
• Maintain compliance with medical coding standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ensure claims are coded properly to avoid denials and ensure clean claim submission.
• Meet or exceed goals and benchmarks related to accuracy and efficiency as set by the client.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve any coding discrepancies.
• Maintains confidentiality of all personal health information (PHI), policies, and procedures for compliance with the requirements set by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) protocols.
• Ensures compliance to company rules and regulations, which shall include but not limited to the Employee Code of Discipline, the policies on Quality Management System (QMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS), Environment Health & Safety (EHS), and Environmental Management System (EMS); Data Privacy Act DPA); and other duties and responsibilities prescribed.
• Ensures compliance of all Non-Conformity Corrective Action Preventive Action Concessions (NCAPACs) and all other audit findings within the prescribed period.
• Reports security incidents and/or any identified security weaknesses.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Non Negotiable Job Requirements:

• College graduate
