Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems Philippines is seeking an experienced Oracle Applications Developer to design, develop, and support enterprisewide Oracle solutions within the EBS environment.

You will work with business users to translate requirements into technical specifications, optimize SQL/PLSQL, and drive deployments from SIT to UAT, contributing to reliable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, OAF, and BI Publisher.
• Experience with Oracle EBS modules (Finance, Supply Chain).
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, test, and implement enterprisewide Oracle systems.
• Develop and customize Oracle applications within EBS.
• Write and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries.
• Create and manage system integrations using Oracle APIs.
• Provide system support and performance tuning.
• Gather requirements from business users and translate into specs.
• Support SIT/UAT and deployment activities.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Conducts analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprisewide systems (e.g., Oracle, Camstar, ETQ, TLMS) across functional areas.
• Develop & Customize Oracle Applications: Design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Forms, Reports, OAF pages, and BI Publisher reports within the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment.
• Database Development: Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages to support business requirements.
• Integrations: Develop and manage integrations using Oracle APIs, Open Interfaces, and other methods to facilitate data exchange between systems.
• System Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning for existing Oracle applications and custom solutions.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business users and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and assist with deployment activities.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and support guides.

Who You Are (Qualifications/Desired Skills)

• Oracle Development Expertise: Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, OAF, and BI Publisher.
• Oracle EBS Knowledge: Experience with key Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules (e.g., Financials, Supply Chain).
• Programming Skills: Strong PL/SQL skills; familiarity with Java and XML a plus.
• SDLC Understanding: Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle, including debugging and performance tuning.
• Problem-Solver: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Collaborative Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with business users and technical teams.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with relevant hands‑on experience as an Oracle Applications Developer.
