Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking Ops1 Assembly Equipment - Maintenance Technicians in Calamba, Philippines. The role involves setting up and converting assembly equipment, optimizing machine performance, and supporting qualifications for transferred and newly purchased machines.

You will assist in machine improvements and handle electronic board repairs while contributing to special projects under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/technical degree in EE/ME/ECE or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience with pre-assembly and related equipment.
• Knowledge of machine operation and setup for listed processes.
• OEE and MTBI know-how.
• Microsoft tools, PLC, Power BI and basic quality tools are a plus.
• Business English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Set up and convert equipment for production needs.
• Optimize machines and perform minor repairs to achieve KPI targets (OEE, NEE, MTBI, cost).
• Support qualification for transferred and newly purchased machines.
• Assist in machine improvements and electronic board repairs.
• Participate in special projects to improve the assigned area.

YOUR ROLE

You take part in creating the best new hire experience in the project to completely renew our talent acquisition and onboarding process. You also help us with finding the best vendors for recruitment, and managing the a to z collaboration with them.

• Equipment Set-up and Conversion
• Machine Optimization and minor repairs supporting attainment of Maintenance KPI (OEE, NEE, MTBI, Cost)
• Support qualification for transferred and newly purchased machines
• Support machine improvement, modification and electronic board repairs
• Support special projects that will contribute to improvement of assigned area and as maybe assigned by immediate supervisor

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Graduate of EE/ME/ECE or similar technical vocational equivalent
• Minimum 1-year relevant experience in areas of Pre-assembly, Package Singulation, Die attach, Laser marking, Mold, Backetch and Plating handling machines from DISCO, KnS, ASM, MIT, TOWA, Hanmi, UCE, MECO
• Extensive knowledge of machine operation and set-up for the above Process
• Knowhow of Equipment OEE and MTBI
• Knowhow of Microsoft software tools, PLC, Power Bi and basic quality tools a plus factor
• English business proficiency
