Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Calamba, Philippines, invites an experienced Head of Facility Maintenance to lead daily operations and drive preventive maintenance programs for critical semiconductor facilities.

The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, UPS systems, CMMS usage, and budget management, with proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage vendor contracts. You will champion safety, reliability, and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Technology.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, planning, or project coordination.
• Proficient in MS Project and CMMS systems.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SLA/KPI management and contract negotiations.
• Experience with HVAC, compressed air, UPS in semiconductor facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers/supervisors/technicians in day-to-day operations.
• Attend to equipment issues and emergencies with escalation to stakeholders.
• Implement action items from preventive maintenance reports.
• Ensure effective use of CMMS and develop reporting systems.
• Review maintenance programs for continued improvement.
• Ensure POR/SOP/LOP/WI are maintained in Facilities systems.
• Coordinate with Maintenance/Projects/Engineering/Quality for updates.
• Maintain reliable spare parts management and budget prioritization.
• Aim for 100% preventive maintenance on schedule monthly.
• Regularly review SLA/KPI of service contracts.

YOUR ROLE

You take part in creating the best new hire experience in the project to completely renew our talent acquisition and onboarding process. You also help us with finding the best vendors for recruitment, and managing the a to z collaboration with them.

• Lead engineers/supervisors/technicians in running the day-to-day operations in a pro‑active and sustainable way.
• Attend to equipment issues and emergencies and ensure proper escalation to all stakeholders as early as possible.
• Ensure to implement action items derived from the preventive maintenance report and address them with urgency.
• Ensure effective use of the CMMS tool in implementing Preventive maintenance activities and develop a comprehensive report/reporting system.
• Regular review of Maintenance program and activities and look for opportunities to further improved effectiveness.
• Ensure that all POR/SOP/LOP/WI are taken into the Facilities system maintenance.
• Collaboration and Alignment with Maintenance/ Projects/ Engineering and Quality for necessary update of LOP/WI /plans and or changes in any System or equipment design.
• Ensure a reliable spare parts management system and a systematic prioritization of budget expenditure.
• Ensure a 100% preventive maintenance performance to schedule on a monthly basis.
• Ensure regular SLA/KPI review of service contract.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Eng'g. Graduate or four-year Technology graduate (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Knowledgeable in MS project management tool.
• Knowledgeable in Quality Management tools like 8D/FMEA/DMAIC /5Sand others.
• Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• With good analytical skill.
• Significant work experience in facilities equipment maintenance or planning.
• Significant knowledge in contract management and negotiations.
• Commendable knowledge in budget/cost (financial management).
• Knowledgeable in managing Service level agreements (SLA's or KPI's).
• Knowledgeable in a semiconductor key facilities system operation and maintenance like HVAC system. Compressed Air System, UPS and the like.
