Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Setup of welders and machines; troubleshoot minor setup problems.
  • Perform 6S activities pre- and post-shift.
  • Conduct process monitors (visuals, SPC, sampling) per procedures.
  • Record computer transactions for station details.
  • Account for lot quantities and classify rejected parts.
  • Decide based on specifications and criteria.
  • Perform other duties as needed while following procedures and safety rules.
  • Highlight issues that could affect safety, quality, or output during shift.

Job Description

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.

  • Setup of welders, machine and trouble shoot minor setup problems.
  • 6S activities pre- and post-shift either manual or semi-automatic.
  • Can perform process monitors (visuals, SPC, sampling test) as per spec procedures task and/or responsibility.
  • Computer transaction regarding the details of his/her compelled station
  • Accounting of lot quantities and proper categorization of rejected parts
  • Be able to decide based on existing specifications and /or criteria
  • Perform other tasks as needed. Follows and complies with all normal duties and responsibilities, system procedure, flow and standard of operation.
  • Initiates highlighting of any issues that could affect the safety, quality and/or output during his/her shift
