Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a production line associate to support EMS, QMS and ESD initiatives at our Laguna-area manufacturing site.

You will handle hardware and equipment, monitor line quality, and prevent defects while maintaining strict adherence to safety and process specifications. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and strong attention to detail, with the ability to work with a team, follow directions precisely, and adapt to process changes.

Responsibilities

• Supports and implements EMS, QMS and ESD.
• Responsible for the proper handling of hardware, equipment and products being observed in line.
• Responsible for the quality of products, preventing any quality issues in the line and aiming for zero Lot Rejection Rate.
• Escalates/reports any problems encountered in the line to the Supervisor on duty.

Job Description

• Supports and implements Environmental Management System (EMS), Quality Management System (QMS) and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
• Responsible for the proper handling of hardware, equipment and products being observed in line
• Responsible for the quality of his/her products, preventing any quality issues in the line & aiming for zero Lot Rejection Rate.
• Responsible for informing immediate vacation leaves and sick leaves
• Escalates/ reports any problems encountered in the line to the Supervisor on duty.
