HMS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is seeking an experienced Operations Support Manager to lead the store's operational backbone in Metro Manila. You will oversee inventory integrity, merchandise availability, transaction accuracy, store readiness, and essential administrative functions to drive sales and an elevated customer experience.

The role requires hands-on leadership of stock clerks and sales support teams, ensuring strong controls and efficient day-to-day execution across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical inventories, cycle counts, spot checks, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
• Establish preventive controls and document stock movements, transfers, adjustments, damages, and returns.
• Set and enforce store-readiness standards for cleanliness, safety, facilities, selling areas, cashier counters, fixtures, and stockrooms.
• Conduct regular store inspections and manage escalations to resolve issues within timelines.
• Oversee merchandise receiving and replenishment to ensure availability and proper display.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Warehouse, Visual, and Sales teams to resolve stock gaps.
• Ensure accuracy of price tags, promotional labels, markdowns, and product information.
• Lead timely implementation and validation of price changes and promotions.
• Monitor aged and slow-moving merchandise and develop action plans for transfers and disposition.
• Develop Stock Clerks and Sales Support Team through coaching and performance management.
• Establish service standards and productivity metrics across inventory, replenishment, cashiering, POS, and admin processes.
• Collaborate with key support departments to strengthen operational controls and store performance.

This role will oversee inventory, merchandise availability, transaction accuracy, store readiness, and administrative functions—creating an efficient and well-controlled environment that supports strong sales performance and an elevated customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead physical inventories, cycle counts, spot checks, reconciliations, and variance investigations to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Establish preventive controls and ensure all stock movements, transfers, adjustments, damages, and returns are properly documented and posted.
• Set and enforce store-readiness standards covering cleanliness, safety, facilities, selling areas, cashier counters, fixtures, and stockrooms.
• Conduct regular store inspections and ensure operational concerns are assigned, escalated, and resolved within the required timelines.
• Oversee merchandise receiving and replenishment to ensure products are readily available and properly displayed across all selling areas.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Warehouse, Visual, and Sales teams to resolve stock gaps and prioritize replenishment requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of price tags, promotional labels, markdowns, and product information.
• Lead the timely implementation and validation of price changes, promotions, and markdown activities throughout the store.
• Monitor aged and slow-moving merchandise and develop store-level action plans involving transfers, display strategies, promotions, and approved disposition activities.
• Lead and develop the Stock Clerks and Sales Support Team through effective workforce planning, deployment, coaching, performance management, and capability building.
• Establish clear service standards and productivity measures across inventory, replenishment, cashiering, POS, and administrative processes.
• Work closely with key support departments to strengthen operational controls, improve execution, and support overall store and sales performance.
