Job summary

First Advantage is hiring a Vietnamese Operations Specialist in Metro Manila. The role focuses on initiating and verifying background checks, coordinating with institutions, and updating systems to ensure timely and accurate verifications.

You will handle sensitive information with discretion and communicate professionally with HR teams and schools. This position offers a hybrid work setup and opportunities to contribute to a globally distributed HR technology provider focused on risk management

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Vietnamese and English (verbal and written).
• Bachelor's degree; open to undergraduates with relevant experience.
• Residing within Metro Manila or nearby areas; living in the Philippines.
• At least 1 year of experience in a corporate environment (BPO preferred).

Responsibilities

• Initiate background checks in the GCM pool within 24-48 hours from check order date.
• Conduct verification of candidate information with accuracy and integrity via email, phone, forms, or official channels.
• Ensure all verification attempts are completed correctly and documented fully.
• Upload all required documentation associated with the verification process.
• Complete verification requirements, close off checks, and update the system in a timely manner.
• Raise insufficiencies or missing information as soon as identified.
• Perform candidate chasing to obtain required documents and complete data entry.
• Maintain respectful and professional communication with HR, supervisors, schools, and professional POCs.
• Handle confidential information with utmost care and discretion.
• Update contact cards and system notes based on information gathered during verification.

What You'll Do

A successful Operations Specialist willbe responsible forconductingaccurateandtimelyverification of candidate information with various institutions and entities, ensuring all activities are completed within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). This includesinitiatingchecks, performing follow-ups, verifyingsubmitteddocuments, updating the system, and communicating professionally with points of contact (POCs).

What You Will Need to be Successful:

• Bachelor's degree, but open to undergraduates with relevant experience
• Must be fluent in Vietnamese and English (verbal and written). This is a key requirement.
• Must be currentlyresidingwithin Metro Manila or nearby areas and must beresidingin the Philippines.
• At least 1 year of experience in a corporate environment (BPO experience preferred).

What You May Need to be Successful:

• Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, web browsers).
• Amenable to working on night shift orshiftingschedules.
• Experience with inbound calls is recommended but notrequired.
