Job summary

Teligent Systems, Inc. in Makati is seeking an Operations Specialist to support day-to-day operational and administrative activities across client projects and internal processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support UAT for ATM, CRM, Channel Reconciliation, and other credit/debit card related functions.
• Review and execute test cases, GL mapping, report validation, reconciliation, and process testing.
• Validate data and reports from the Card Management System (CMS) and ensure outputs are accurate.
• Review credit card financial reports and reconciliation results during UAT and system migration.
• Identify testing issues and coordinate with Testing Team for resolution.
• Provide SME guidance for card migration, system implementation, and testing activities.
• Collaborate with business, operations, technology, and testing teams for successful implementation.

Job description

Role Description The Operations Specialist is a full-time on-site role based in Makati and supports day-to-day operational and administrative activities across Client projects and internal processes.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for ATM, CRM, Channel Reconciliation, and other credit/debit card-related functions.
• Review and execute test cases, including GL mapping, report validation, reconciliation, and other system and process-related testing.
• Validate data and reports generated from the new Card Management System (CMS) and ensure accuracy and completeness of outputs.
• Review and validate credit card financial reports, reconciliation results, and related processes during UAT and system migration.
• Identify, document, and consolidate testing exceptions, discrepancies, and issues for discussion, resolution, and escalation to immediate officers and the Testing Team.
• Respond to queries and conduct necessary follow-ups regarding card transactions processed through the new CMS and other updated processes resulting from Project Rubicon.
• Support UAT documentation, including test results, issue logs, and other required testing deliverables.
• Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for credit card migration, system implementation, and testing activities involving the new card switch.
• Serve as SME for the bank’s VISA scheme and support related testing, migration, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with business, operations, technology, and testing teams to ensure successful implementation and transition of credit card functions and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Previous work experience in credit card financial reporting, operations, financial planning, or related banking/financial services functions.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, with accounting experience in the banking industry considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the VISA Scheme and credit card switch.
• Commercial knowledge and understanding of the credit card business.
• Experience working on financial system projects is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications; knowledge of MS Access is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage financial information accurately.
• Strong customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing environment are an advantage.
