Job summary

Planet Sports Inc. is seeking a seasoned Training Manager to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs for the Operations & Project Management team.

You will assess needs, design curricula, deliver engaging sessions, and drive onboarding and leadership development initiatives. You will manage LMS deployment and analytics, coordinate logistics, and lead a team of trainers, instructional designers, and coordinators, ensuring alignment with department goals and organizational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Training with a demonstrable track record.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
• Project management skills for training initiatives and timelines.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving for organizational goals.
• Proficiency in LMS and training technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Training Needs Analysis: Identify skill gaps and development opportunities within the department.
• Training Program Development: Design and implement programs, courses, and workshops; create materials and resources.
• Training Delivery: Facilitate sessions using diverse instructional techniques.
• Employee Onboarding: Develop onboarding programs for new hires in Operations & Project Management.
• Leadership Development: Create programs for managers and supervisors focusing on leadership and coaching.
• Training Evaluation: Measure effectiveness via feedback and metrics; adjust programs as needed.
• Training Coordination: Manage scheduling, venues, registrations, and logistics.
• LMS: Implement and administer LMS; monitor usage and reporting.
• Professional Development: Stay current with trends and participate in industry events.
