Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Customs Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive logistics experience, including leading teams.
• 3–5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory capacity.

Inland Airfreight Logistics Corporation (IALC), an affiliate of Inland Corporation, is looking for an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager who can lead our day-to-day logistics operations and turn operational excellence into outstanding customer service.

As part of a Filipino logistics organization with decades of industry experience and an established network serving local and international requirements, you will be joining a business where reliability, speed, compliance, and customer commitment matter every day. As Operations Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the efficient, compliant, and profitable execution of IALC's logistics operations.

You will:

• Lead end-to-end operations and ensure shipments and customer requirements are executed accurately, safely, and on time.
• Manage and develop the Operations Team, establishing clear accountabilities, performance standards, and a strong culture of ownership.
• Drive operational KPIs covering service levels, turnaround time, productivity, shipment accuracy, customer issues, cost, and profitability.
• Coordinate closely with airlines, shipping lines, truckers, brokers, warehouses, agents, suppliers, and other logistics partners to maintain smooth cargo movement.
• Ensure regulatory and operational compliance, including applicable customs, airport, PEZA, freight-forwarding, safety, security, and company requirements.
• Take ownership of operational escalations, resolving shipment delays, exceptions, customer concerns, and service failures quickly and professionally.
• Control operating costs and improve margins through better resource utilization, supplier management, process discipline, and productivity improvements.
• Review workflows and eliminate operational bottlenecks, introducing practical process improvements and stronger controls.
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Service to ensure operational commitments are realistic, executable, and consistently delivered.
• Build strong relationships with customers and partners, particularly for critical or complex shipments.
• Develop operational reports and management dashboards that turn data into clear actions and business decisions.
• Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, digitalization, and better ways of working.
• Ensure business continuity and operational readiness, particularly in a fast-moving logistics environment where customer requirements may extend beyond regular business hours.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a logistics professional who combines strong operational knowledge with strong leadership and commercial judgment.

Ideally, you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Customs Administration, or a related field.
• At least 7–10 years of progressive experience in logistics, freight forwarding, airfreight, transportation, or supply-chain operations, including significant experience leading teams.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory capacity.
• Strong working knowledge of airfreight and/or international freight forwarding operations; experience across import and export operations is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of Philippine customs, airport, PEZA, and freight-forwarding processes and regulations.
• Experience managing operational KPIs, budgets, suppliers, service levels, and process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability, especially when handling urgent shipment exceptions and operational disruptions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong customer orientation without losing sight of cost, productivity, compliance, and profitability.
• Confidence working in a 24/7, deadline-driven logistics environment.
• Proficiency with logistics systems, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, reporting tools, and operational data; experience with transportation, warehouse, or freight-management systems is an advantage.
