Job summary

Deel is seeking a sharp, hands-on operator to lead a major client migration program and help build better tools across the migration team. You’ll untangle issues, align teams, and provide clear leadership updates while driving efficiency and automation across processes.

You’ll own the Deel Local Payroll migration program, digging into payroll data to map and validate information, working with product and engineering to push fixes, and coordinating with compliance and operations to resolve

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, FinTech/Tech/startup preferred.
• Ability to leverage AI and automation to improve workflows.
• Experience with data mapping/reconciliation across systems.
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams.
• Strong leadership and KPI-driven performance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational workflows and identify efficiency improvements.
• Support automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline tools and processes for internal teams and customers.
• Ensure adherence to controls, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
• Contribute to fraud prevention and regulatory alignment efforts.
• Monitor performance metrics and escalate risks to leadership.
• Drive customer-focused process improvements to reduce turnaround times and improve escalation handling.
• Expand self-service options to reduce dependence on manual support.
• Implement regular feedback loops to capture insights for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate readiness for new product or market launches with stakeholders.
• Assist go-to-market initiatives by removing bottlenecks and enabling adoption.
• Track and report operational outcomes to leadership.
