Process Optimization: Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for technical workflows, such as incident reporting, hardware installation, and data handling, to reduce errors and improve speed.
Compliance and Risk Oversight: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to data privacy laws and security certifications (such as ISO 27001 or GDPR) to protect both company and client assets.
Supply Chain and Procurement: Manage relationships with security hardware and software vendors, overseeing the procurement of cameras, servers, and licenses to ensure project timelines are met without overspending.
Inter-departmental Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between technical departments, sales, and HR to ensure staffing levels are adequate and that sales promises align with technical capabilities.
Financial Performance Tracking: Monitor operational budgets, analyze project profitability, and identify cost-saving opportunities within the department's day-to-day activities.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as system uptime, mean time to resolve (MTTR) issues, and overall technician utilization rates.
