Job summary

PerkUp is seeking an Operations Lead to own and continually improve the flow of products through a global fulfillment network. You will manage 3PL relationships, directly lead one operations coordinator, and handle ASNs, inbound shipments, and inventory accuracy.

This is a hands-on player-coach role, requiring quick learning, clear problem solving, and accountability. It is fully remote with a full Eastern Time schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, fulfillment or a similar complex operations environment.
• Proven ability to independently solve ambiguous operational problems and take accountability for outcomes.
• Experience directly managing or leading another operator.
• Strong systems and technical aptitude with data flows and integrations; clear communication with technical teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English; professional fluency required.
• Shopify and ASN experience is preferred but not mandatory if you can show rapid learning and systems thinking.
• Location: Remote, Latin America; Engagement: Full-time contractor.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop one operations coordinator with clear goals, delegation, and coaching.
• Create and review ASNs; follow up inbound shipments; resolve receiving discrepancies; protect inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure clean handoff from PO to warehouse availability.
• Monitor fulfillment and delivery; investigate exceptions and aging orders; drive resolution.
• Diagnose Shopify, WMS, and order-sync problems; gather evidence; coordinate with partners and engineering; validate fixes.
• Lead new warehouse requirements, process changes, SOPs, dashboards, and operating controls.
• Track performance; identify failures; build systems to reduce escalations and founder involvement.

We are seeking an Operations Lead to own and continuously improve the flow of products through our global fulfillment network—from the purchasing handoff through receiving, inventory, fulfillment, and delivery. You will be the primary point of contact for our 3PLs, directly lead one operations coordinator from day one, and personally handle a meaningful share of the execution.

This is a hands‑on player‑coach role. You will create and review ASNs, follow up on inbound shipments, resolve inventory and order issues, coordinate process changes and system migrations, and make sure work does not become orphaned after it is delegated.

The right person is smart, ambitious, technically curious, and highly accountable. You do not need a perfect background in every tool or workflow, but you must learn quickly, think clearly when the process breaks, and push problems to resolution without waiting for step‑by‑step direction.

This role is fully remote and works a full Eastern Time schedule.

What you’ll own

• Lead new warehouse requirements, process changes, documentation, SOPs, dashboards, and operating controls.
• Track performance, identify recurring failure points, and build systems that reduce escalations and founder involvement.

What success looks like

• Fulfillment, receiving, ASN, and inventory accuracy improve measurably.
• Operational issues have clear owners, move quickly, and do not get lost between teams or vendors.
• Your direct report and 3PL partners operate with stronger consistency, accountability, and independence.
• PerkUp’s fulfillment operation scales without requiring daily founder involvement.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, fulfillment, ecommerce, marketplace, or another complex operations environment.
• A track record of independently solving ambiguous operational problems and taking accountability for outcomes.
• Experience directly managing or materially leading another operator.
• Strong systems and technical aptitude—you can understand data flows, troubleshoot integrations, and communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English; full professional fluency is required.
• Strong communication and vendor‑management skills across remote teams.
• Active, sophisticated use of AI tools to research, analyze, document, and move faster—while verifying the output.
• A player‑coach mindset: willing to do the work yourself, raise the bar for others, and stay effective under pressure.
• Goal‑oriented, competitive, and motivated by increasing responsibility, impact, and career growth.
• Shopify and ASN experience are preferred, but neither is a hard requirement if you can demonstrate exceptional learning speed and relevant systems thinking.
