Job summary

GEODIS Philippines is building its Air Freight operations and seeks an experienced specialist to manage end-to-end air import/export processes. You will ensure timely airway bill generation, coordination with carriers, and clear communication with customers and suppliers across a growing logistics network.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in air operations, solid airfreight knowledge, and proficiency in CargoWise (CCLP).

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year university degree or equivalent in logistics-related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in air operations in the airfreight industry.
• Good airfreight and air cargo knowledge.
• CargoWise - CCLP Certified Logistic Provider by WiseTech.

Responsibilities

• Complete A-Z process for Air Import or Air Export.
• Ensure timely and accurate airway bill cutting.
• Ensure all shipments are built-up or tendered to carrier on-time.
• Communicate requirements with internal/external customers and suppliers.
• Troubleshoot shipment issues as they arise.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to GEODIS SOPs.
• Submit at least 1 cost-saving initiative quarterly.
• Monitor material supplies to subcontractors (wraps, tapes, foams).
• Collaborate with vendor management transport team to meet service requirements.
• Maintain export shipment issue log updates.
• Prepare monthly KPI reporting for export subcontractor performance.

Responsibility:

• Complete A-Z process for Air Import or Air Export


• Ensure a timely and accurate airwaybill cutting


• Ensure all shipments are build-up or tender to carrier on-time


• Communication on all requirements with internal/external customers and suppliers


• Trouble shooting of all shipment issue


• Monitoring subcontractor performance, if any, to ensure compliance to GEODIS Standard Operating Process


• Identify areas of improvement through daily operations


• Submit at least 1 cost saving initiative plan once every quarter


• Monitor and control material supplies to subcontractor (Shrink wraps, security tapes, foams etc)


• Work closely with vendor management transport team to meet customer service requirement and expectation


• Keeping track and updates of export Shipment issue log


• Monthly KPI reporting for export subcontractor performance via dashboard


• Prepare 8D/CAR reports.


• Perform other functions, as required, from time to time

Requirement:

• 4-year university degree or equivalent certification in logistics-related field


• Minimum of 3 years experience in air operations in the airfreight industry.
