Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Manila is seeking a Specialist – Air Freight to manage invoice preparation and drive process improvements in air freight operations. You will perform rating and billing on shipments, print invoices, and handle requests on GSConnect and CargowiseOne.

Minimum 3-4 years of experience with billing/invoicing, ERP systems, and strong communication skills required; a logistics or air freight background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (any). A degree in logistics, management will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience.
• Billing/invoicing experience is a must.
• Logistics background / Air Freight operations experience will be added advantage.
• Well versed with any ERP usage.
• Good Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good Communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto rating / manual rating on assigned shipments, post all revenue charges and print invoice.
• Manage the requests on GSConnect and task handling on product operation platform (CargowiseOne).
• Interact with country representatives and various stakeholders in your regular execution of tasks.
• Participate in problem solving and process improvement with team manager.
• Assist to meet performance targets.
• Evaluate department processes. Recommend and coordinate needed changes based on analysis.
• Work closely with colleagues to identify solutions, best practices and KPIs to improve processes.
• Assist staff to resolve complex problems and ensure quality control.
• Ensure thorough documentation for the process.
• Participate in additional projects assigned by the team manager.
• Ensure process compliance.
• Drive Customer Satisfaction Processes.
