Job summary

goFLUENT is seeking an Operations English Trainer in the Philippines to onboard and develop language trainers who support business professionals. You will run live training sessions, provide coaching, and partner with Trainer Managers to elevate performance and quality.

The role emphasizes facilitating online and onsite sessions, monitoring progress, updating training resources, and aligning with CEFR standards for language assessment.

Qualifications

• Institutional degree in education, communication, instructional design, or a related field.
• Experience in language training, teaching, L&D, or trainer development; mentoring is a plus.
• Solid understanding of CEFR and language assessment.
• Experience facilitating online or virtual training using LMS and digital tools.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and feedback skills; KPI awareness is advantageous.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As an Operations English Trainer, you'll help our language trainers succeed from onboarding through ongoing development. You'll facilitate live training sessions, provide targeted coaching, and work closely with Trainer Managers to support trainer performance, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Onboard and train new language trainers

• Facilitate live onboarding and training sessions for newly hired trainers.

• Guide trainers through teaching practices, assessment, tools, processes, and quality expectations.

2. Coach and develop trainers

• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions to strengthen trainers' teaching effectiveness and overall performance.

• Provide actionable feedback and support trainers in applying it to their training practice.

3. Support trainer performance and quality

• Provide targeted coaching based on KPI results, performance needs, and recommendations from Trainer Managers.

• Monitor progress and provide follow-up to support quality and performance expectations.

4. Contribute to trainer development

• Identify development needs and support relevant training, workshops, and coaching initiatives.

• Create or update training materials and resources as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, Instructional Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience in language training, teaching, L&D, or trainer development; coaching or mentoring experience is a plus.

• Solid understanding of CEFR and language assessment.

• Experience facilitating online or virtual training using web conferencing tools, LMS platforms, and other digital learning tools.

• Strong communication, facilitation, and feedback skills.

• Experience with trainer performance, quality, coaching, or KPIs is an advantage.

• Certifications in language teaching, coaching, assessment, or online training are a plus.
