Job Summary

As a Language Trainer Coach, your primary responsibility will be to support and mentor language trainers in their professional development and to enhance their teaching effectiveness and assessment skills. You will collaborate closely with language trainers, providing guidance, feedback, and resources to help them improve their instructional techniques, lesson planning skills, and overall training abilities. Additionally, you will facilitate and deliver engaging online training programs to language trainers, creating a positive virtual learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support language trainers: Provide individualized coaching and support, conduct regular coaching sessions, offer constructive feedback and opportunities for practice.
• Facilitate online training sessions: Lead discussions, answer questions, encourage active participation, administer quizzes and evaluation methods, analyze data and recommend program improvements.
• Develop training materials: Work with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create effective, interactive, and visually appealing online training materials, including presentations, guides, and multimedia content.
• Facilitate professional development opportunities: Identify training needs of language trainers and assessors, coordinate relevant training sessions, workshops, or webinars, stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in language teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Extensive experience as a language trainer, instructor, or educator, preferably with coaching or mentoring experience.
• Excellent understanding of language proficiency frameworks such as CEFR and their application in training.
• Proficiency in using web conferencing tools, learning management systems (LMS), and other online training platforms.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and provide constructive feedback.
• Certifications in online training, virtual facilitation, language teaching, coaching, and language assessments are a plus.

Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 4:00PM - 12:00AM (Philippine Time).
