Job summary

Henkel is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Consultant to drive reliability and continuous improvement of OT in its global manufacturing network. You will bridge plant operations, engineering, digital manufacturing, vendors, and IT to ensure safe, efficient production.

You will lead troubleshooting and optimization of OT environments, support Industry 4.0 initiatives, and establish governance and documentation for global manufacturing sites. Hybrid work in Makati is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in OT, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Technology, or similar.
• Strong expertise in SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS, MES, and Industrial IoT platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT Consultant liaison between plant operations, engineering, vendors, IT and global teams.
• Manage OT environments including SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS, MES and Industrial IoT for reliability and performance.
• Lead digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives across global operations.
• Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate on system enhancements, lifecycle management, and governance for OT solutions.
• Establish OT standards, governance, and documentation for secure manufacturing operations.

As an Operational Technology (OT) Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the technologies that power our global manufacturing network. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between plant operations, engineering teams, digital manufacturing experts, technology vendors, and global IT stakeholders. You will support and enhance OT environments that enable safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production while ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions.

What you´ll do

• Serve as the primary Operational Technology (OT) Consultant and trusted advisor for manufacturing sites, partnering with plant operations, engineering teams, digital manufacturing specialists, vendors, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless production support
• Manage and optimize OT environments that support critical manufacturing processes, including SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS, MES, and Industrial IoT technologies, ensuring system reliability, stability, and performance
• Drive digital manufacturing, smart factory, and Industry 4.0 initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across global manufacturing operations
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex OT-related incidents while implementing preventive measures to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system enhancements, upgrades, lifecycle management, and technology projects to ensure OT solutions align with business and operational requirements
• Establish and maintain OT standards, governance processes, and technical documentation to support secure, efficient, and sustainable manufacturing operations globally
• Champion best practices in industrial automation and manufacturing technology, fostering innovation and operational excellence across Henkel’s manufacturing network

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Technology, or similar disciplines; Proven experience supporting manufacturing plants, production facilities, or industrial environments is highly preferred
• Strong expertise in industrial systems and technologies, including SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS, MES, and Industrial IoT platforms; Demonstrated ability to ensure the availability, stability, and performance of OT systems supporting critical production operations
• Experience acting as a trusted advisor and key liaison between plant operations, engineering, digital manufacturing, vendors, and IT teams; Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams
• Proven track record in troubleshooting complex OT issues, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience supporting digital manufacturing, smart factory, Industry 4.0 programs, system lifecycle management, and governance best practices is an advantage
• Amenable to work on a mid-shift schedule (1:00 PM to 10:00 PM), report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati)
