Job summary

Makati-based China Bank Group is seeking an Operational Risk Analytics Officer to transform risk data into meaningful insights, support risk assessments, and strengthen risk management tools and processes. You will collaborate with business and support units to drive risk-informed decisions across the organization.

The role requires 2–3 years in banking operations, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, Power BI and Power Apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, industrial engineering, applied mathematics or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in banking operations or a related banking function.
• Understanding of banking operations, transaction life cycles, and financial market processes.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and operational risk management concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications, including Power BI and Power Apps.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and self-driven approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative risk data from various business units.
• Monitor operational loss incidents, risk indicators, and outstanding risk exposures across the organization.
• Prepare management reports and provide insights that help identify emerging risks and support decision-making.
• Partner with business and support units to facilitate risk assessments, reporting activities, and operational risk initiatives.
