Job summary

Verdant Energy in Makati, Philippines is seeking a Lead Asset Performance Manager to optimize the operation of solar and wind projects across sites.

You will monitor KPI like availability, energy yield, and downtime, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions, while guiding site teams and contractors.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 8–12 years of renewable energy experience, with strong English skills and a commitment to HSE excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in renewable energy operations, O&M, or asset performance.
• Hands-on experience with solar and wind projects.
• Knowledge of international standards and HSE best practices.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams or contractors.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset performance optimization initiatives across operating renewable energy projects.
• Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs including availability, performance ratio, energy yield, and downtime.
• Identify underperformance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive optimization of O&M strategies, preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Review, standardize, and enhance O&M processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead the development and implementation of SOPs aligned with international standards.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to site-based O&M teams and contractors.
• Champion HSE excellence and foster a strong safety culture across all sites.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and international HSE standards.
• Ensure operational compliance with applicable international standards (IEC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
