Job summary

Mustard Seed Systems Corporation is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Engineer to address client concerns professionally and provide technical support for hardware/software products. The role includes installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and regular reporting in a client-facing capacity.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics/EE/IT (or related fields), with 1+ year of service engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Licensed ECE/EE is a plus.
• At least 1 year of working experience as Service Engineer/Technical Engineer or related role.
• Familiar with Building Technology Systems, CCTVs, door access, Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA), and Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (FDAS).
• Innovative, results-oriented, flexible, proactive, systematic, and organized.
• Agile, able to multi-task, and has great attention to details.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong listening and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Can do fieldwork and must be willing to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Establish a relationship with the client and address concerns professionally.
• Be accommodating, well-spoken and ensure proper attention to every customer inquiry.
• Perform installation and configuration of hardware/software products.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware products.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on repairs.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Provide timely response for any service issues and requests.
• Must have background in preventive maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems and other security products.
