Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City is seeking a Technical Lead/Manager (Product & Architecture) to drive scalable digital products and define the technical architecture supporting business growth. This role blends hands-on engineering leadership with strategic design, collaborating with product, design, and business teams to ensure high quality, secure, and performant systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a Technical Lead, Engineering Manager, Solutions Architect, or similar leadership role.
Strong background in product development and software architecture.
Hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Java, Golang, Node.js, Scala, or other OO/open-source techs.
Experience with React, TypeScript, or JavaScript is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native/containerized environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and modern architectural patterns.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and enhancement of software products and platforms.
Define and maintain application and system architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Translate product requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.
Make key architectural decisions across applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
Write and review code, ensuring engineering quality, maintainability, and performance.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Mentor engineers and promote best practices in software development, architecture, testing, and deployment.
Drive technical innovation by evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and architectural approaches.
Support Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and release management.
Ensure successful delivery of product features while balancing speed, scalability, and long-term system sustainability.
