Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd. seeks a Tax Compliance Manager to lead the organization’s tax compliance, governance, and risk management across its hotel portfolio and related entities.

The role requires overseeing VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other statutory obligations with hands-on leadership in a multi-unit environment. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in tax compliance or related fields, strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, and experience supervising teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA license is preferred; relevant tax certifications are advantageous.
• 6–8 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or financial reporting with leadership experience.
• Hands-on tax compliance execution and supervisory responsibilities are expected.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and tax audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tax compliance for all entities and hotel operations (VAT, withholding taxes, income tax).
• Maintain tax compliance calendar, workflows, and review controls to meet deadlines.
• Oversee tax audits, examinations, and regulatory reviews; manage tax-related documentation and records.
• Provide tax planning, advisory support, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance and Operations.
• Coordinate with tax consultants, legal counsel, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
