Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks an experienced tax leader to oversee engagement quality, reporting to the Partner-in-Charge, and manage engagement economics. The role requires CPA with at least 5 years in tax and 2 years in management, including advisory and planning expertise. You'll supervise staff, strengthen client relations, and ensure regulatory compliance across SEC and BIR guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in tax.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in a management role.
Proficiency in tax advisory and tax planning services.
Mastery of existing tax regulations, laws, and issues is essential.
Experience in bookkeeping, payroll services, Financial Statement preparation, MS Navigation and SAP is beneficial.
Proficiency with SEC and BIR issues.
Experience in tax planning and compliance are required.
Responsibilities
Review staff work outputs for accuracy and alignment with engagement instructions.
Report to Partner-in-Charge and discuss client reports.
Manage engagement economics for the team.
Provide leadership and effective communication to the team.
Supervise staff within the cluster and coach/mentor to retain talent.
Monitor accounts receivable for the team and ensure targets are met.
Assist in collections efforts to achieve collection targets.
