Job summary

IT by Design Philippines Inc. is seeking a NOC Engineer located onsite in BGC, Taguig, with a night shift aligned to EST hours.

You will provide Level 2 technical support for Windows, Active Directory, servers, and network infrastructure; monitor alerts, troubleshoot incidents, perform RCAs, document resolutions, and maintain system availability. The role requires strong English communication, night shifts, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Cisco Meraki in MSP environments.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in NOC, L2 IT support, Systems Administration, Network Support, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, and DHCP.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and VPN.
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Cisco Meraki is preferred.
• Experience with monitoring and ITSM/ticketing platforms.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig, on a night shift aligned with EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 technical support for Windows, Active Directory, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor and respond to alerts, incidents, and system performance issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server and workstation issues.
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, permissions, GPO, and authentication issues.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, and network connectivity.
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Support technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, and Cisco Meraki.
• Perform server and infrastructure monitoring and basic maintenance.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement appropriate remediation.
• Handle escalated tickets from L1 Service Desk teams.
• Escalate complex issues to L3 or specialized engineering teams when required.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, changes, and resolutions accurately.
• Follow ITIL‑based incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance and after‑hours troubleshooting.
