Job summary

SuperStaff is seeking a Patient Authorization Coordinator to support our corporate office in Makati/Clark. You will verify patient eligibility and manage re-authorization tasks with QS1 and Brightree, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and case managers.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask under pressure, and HIPAA compliance. Night shift and onsite work are required, with benefits including HMO, Life Insurance, PTO, and merit-based recognition.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter re-authorization dates and tasks into QS1 and Brightree to generate monthly tickler reports.
• Request clinical data from patient’s endocrinologist or physician’s office for re-authorization.
• Submit re-authorization requests to insurance companies.
• Timely follow-up on re-authorization dates.
• Document all pertinent information on case management authorization forms and in Brightree and QS1.
• Create tasks in Brightree for future authorizations.
• Adhere to formulary guidelines and follow established protocol.
• Request interim supplies as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
