Job summary

Bureau Veritas do Brasil in Taguig is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee MEFPS construction activities on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. You will coordinate with designers, contractors, and inspectors to deliver reliable, on-time results.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Mechanical Engineer with at least 3 years in construction, proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; SketchUp is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME).
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience in construction.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; SketchUp a plus.
• Experience with project management tools is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Immediate availability to start and willing to work on-site in Taguig.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise MEFPS trade contractors to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and industry best practices.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning to verify compliance with standards and methodologies.
• Implement and promote total quality work processes, with strict health and safety on-site.
• Coordinate with designers and consultants to address site conditions, design challenges, and modifications.
• Participate in technical coordination meetings with contractors and utility providers, facilitating timely resolutions on-site.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned to support project execution.
