The role reports to the Manager, Purchasing and requires a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering with 1–2 years in Purchasing or related fields. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is essential for success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related 4-year course.
1–2 years of relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
Exposure to purchasing/procurement functions and inventory management.
Strong Excel skills and data analysis capability.
Ability to perform data encoding in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Expedite orders and coordinate delivery negotiations during demand increases and supply constraints.
Monitor PO commitments and delivery performance; escalate shortages and high-risk materials.
Assist inventory control with PO cancellations, reschedules, and push-outs to minimize excess inventory.
Maintain purchasing and supply chain data, reports, and master files to support operations.
Collaborate with procurement, planning, logistics, and support teams to drive key purchasing metrics.
