DCX is a leading BPO focused on helping US-based clients grow by delivering reliable IT asset operations. The DCX IT Asset & Operations Specialist role will handle hardware preparation, deployment, inventory control, and lifecycle activities to ensure onboarding and refresh cycles run smoothly.

You will collaborate with IT Asset, Procurement, HR, Finance, and vendors to maintain compliant asset processes, accurate records, and timely deliveries while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of IT asset management, IT operations, or related experience.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Prepare IT equipment for deployment, including configuration, testing, imaging, installation, and quality validation.
• Maintain accurate asset lifecycle records and documentation.
• Coordinate shipments and logistics with vendors and internal stakeholders.

The DCX IT Asset & Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting IT asset operations, including hardware preparation, deployment, inventory management, logistics coordination, and asset lifecycle activities.

This role ensures IT equipment is properly configured, accurately tracked, maintained, and efficiently delivered to support employee onboarding, equipment refresh, replacement requests, and overall IT operational requirements.

The position will collaborate with IT Asset, Procurement, HR, Finance, and other business stakeholders to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant IT asset processes.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

• Hardware Preparation & Technical Skills - Configures, images, tests, and troubleshoots laptops, desktops, and peripherals for deployment.
• Attention to Detail - Keeps asset records, receiving checks, and lifecycle documentation accurate.
• Communication Skills - Communicates clearly with vendors, couriers, and internal teams, and gives timely updates on asset status.
• Problem Solving & Critical Thinking - Spots process gaps and delivery issues early and recommends practical improvements.
• IT Asset & Inventory Management - Understands asset lifecycle, inventory systems, audits, and Excel reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Hardware Preparation & Deployment

• Prepare IT equipment for deployment, including configuration, testing, imaging, installation, and quality validation.
• Ensure all hardware is functional, properly labeled, documented, and ready for end-user assignment.
• Support employee onboarding activities by preparing and deploying IT equipment within required timelines.
• Assist with hardware refresh, replacement, and recovery activities.

IT Asset Management & Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate and updated records of assigned IT assets throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Ensure proper documentation of asset issuance, transfer, return, and disposal activities.
• Monitor asset status, location, ownership, and condition.
• Support inventory audits, reconciliation activities, and asset reporting requirements.
• Assist in improving inventory accuracy and asset data quality

Shipment, Receiving & Logistics Support

• Coordinate IT equipment shipments with vendors, courier partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Receive incoming IT equipment including laptops, desktops, and peripherals; verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Ensure received equipment is properly inspected, labeled, recorded, and stored.
• Support packaging, shipment preparation, and transportation requirements following company standards.
• Maintain shipment records and assist in resolving delivery-related concerns.

IT Operations Support & Process Improvement

• Follow established IT Asset Management and operational workflows.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and service delivery.
• Support documentation and continuous improvement initiatives related to asset operations.
• Provide operational support during high-volume activities such as refresh programs, onboarding waves, and inventory reconciliation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with IT Asset, Procurement, HR, Finance, vendors, and other departments to ensure smooth IT operations.
• Provide timely updates regarding asset status, deployment progress, and operational concerns.
• Support business requirements related to IT equipment movement and availability.
• Performing tasks analogous to the foregoing

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in IT asset management, IT operations, technical support, hardware deployment, inventory management, or logistics coordination.
• Language Proficiency:Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.
• Working schedule:Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.
• Technical Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting, and documentation.
• Industry SpecificSoftware/Knowledge:
• Hands-on experience in preparing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
• Familiarity with IT asset inventory systems, asset lifecycle management, and documentation processes.
• Experience handling shipment, receiving, inventory verification, and logistics coordination is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles, IT Asset Management best practices, or relevant certifications is an advantage.
