Job summary

Twoconnect in Ortigas, Manila, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support month-end processes, GL, reconciliations, inventory accounting and financial analysis for Australian operations.

The role requires a degree in accounting, at least 3 years of Australian commercial accounting exposure, advanced Excel skills, inventory experience, and strong attention to detail. Onsite work and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years Australian (commercial) accounting experience.
• Inventory management exposure or experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be willing to work fully onsite. Our office is in Ortigas.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Review and analyse expense allocations, ensuring correct and accurate general ledger coding in line with the chart of accounts.
• Reconcile accounts as required.
• Prepare daily operating reports and assist with monthly BAS and FBT returns.
• Support inventory-related accounting and reporting activities.
• Provide transactional accounting support to Management Accountants and Commercial Accountants as required.
• Undertake ad hoc financial analysis.
