Nord Anglia International School Manila seeks a dedicated learning support assistant to provide one-to-one support for a student within the classroom and broader school environment.
You will work closely with the class teacher and Learning Support Team to help the student access the curriculum, participate with peers, and develop increasing confidence and independence. The role emphasizes promoting independence and reducing reliance on direct adult support as skills grow.
The successful candidate will provide individualised support to a student within the classroom and wider school environment. Working closely with the class teacher and Learning Support Team, you will help the student to access learning, participate fully in school life, and develop increasing confidence and independence, enabling them to thrive in an inclusive school. We believe effective one-to-one support should enable independence rather than create dependence on an adult.
Please note that this is not a school-employed position. The school is supporting the parent in identifying a suitable person to provide one-to-one support for their child. The successful candidate will be engaged and paid directly by the parent, with the working arrangements and terms agreed between the candidate and the parent.
