Holland America Line is seeking an Assistant Department Head for housekeeping in the Philippines, onsite. The role supports the Executive Housekeeper, overseeing guest staterooms, public areas, laundry, and uniforms to HAL standards.

The position requires prior shipboard housekeeping management experience and leadership abilities, with responsibilities split between back-of-house and front-of-house operations.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Preferred 1 year of shipboard experience in Housekeeping services.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily Housekeeping operations aboard the ship and guide Supervisors and crew to HAL standards.
• Coordinate with Guest Services to handle guest requests and complaints promptly.
• Monitor training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for housekeeping staff.
• Ensure compliance with Public Health standards and HAL safety policies across all housekeeping areas.
• Maintain inventory and supervision of laundry, tailor, and uniform operations as assigned.
