Job summary

Ecological Energy Technologies Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to lead all construction activities at the solar plant site. You will coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project personnel to ensure safe, on-schedule, and within-budget execution.

You will supervise progress, ensure compliance with plans and safety policies, and maintain thorough project records and turnover readiness, working closely with the Project Manager and QA/QC teams.

Qualifications

• Experience directing day-to-day construction activities at a live site.
• Ability to give instructions to contractors within approved project requirements.
• Ability to require correction of non-compliant work with plans and safety standards.
• Ability to identify and evaluate construction-related technical issues and coordinate with Engineering for clarifications.
• Ability to monitor actual progress against plan and prepare construction reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all construction activities at the solar plant project site.
• Ensure construction activities follow approved plans, drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate proper sequencing and coordination of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other construction activities.
• Monitor construction progress against the project schedule and hold regular progress meetings with contractors and project teams.
• Supervise and monitor contractors and subcontractors for compliance with work plans, schedules, specifications, safety, and policies.
• Coordinate daily site activities with the Project Manager, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE/Safety, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all construction works comply with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Ensure all activities comply with company HSE/Safety policies and laws/regulations.
• Maintain records of construction activities, inspections, site instructions, and other project documentation.
• Monitor completion of all construction activities and coordinate project turnover.
