Job summary

Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site execution, ensuring safety, efficiency and productive progress across solar PV, substation and transmission projects, while coordinating with the project team and stakeholders.

You will chart objectives, manage schedules, supervise subcontractors, ensure QA compliance, prepare progress reports, and secure timely provisioning of tools and materials to sustain work tempo until completion.

Qualifications

• Must have a license as Civil or Electrical Engineer.
• Extensive on-site construction experience.
• At least eight (8) years of work experience in buildings, infrastructure, industrial, power plants, especially Solar PV, Substation & Transmission Line projects.

Responsibilities

• Chart project objectives and plans and set performance requirements.
• Ensure activities move according to the schedule.
• Devise project work plans and revise as needed.
• Communicate effectively with contractors/subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and hold regular status meetings with sub-teams.
• Ensure completion of project documents.
• Plan and coordinate activities across designated areas with available resources.
• Lead and guide the team with Project Manager to assemble and control resources.
• Inspect work to ensure QA/QC conformity and resolve issues.
• Procure tools, materials and services to match workloads and schedules.
