Job summary

Revlv Solutions is seeking a field installation engineer to install, align, and test Starlink systems on-site across multiple sites in the Philippines. You will conduct site surveys, connect routers and cabling, and perform system activations and performance checks.

This role requires hands-on technical skills, comfort with heights, and willingness to travel. You will document surveys and maintenance logs and coordinate with the project manager to meet schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or related field.
• Licensed ECE (PRC) preferred.
• 1-3+ years of experience in field installation, telecom, or networking.
• Basic knowledge of satellite/VSAT systems, RF principles, and networking (routers, WiFi).
• Comfortable working at heights (roofs, ladders) and outdoors.
• Valid driver's license; willing to travel to multiple sites.
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, mount, and configure Starlink dishes, routers, and cabling on-site.
• Conduct site surveys to assess sky obstructions and optimal dish placement.
• Perform system activation, alignment checks, and speed/performance testing.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, and network issues in the field.
• Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and firmware updates.
• Ensure installations follow safety, electrical, and grounding standards.
• Document site surveys, installation reports, and maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on schedules, materials, and site access.
• Provide basic client/end-user orientation on system use and care.
• Respond to service calls for repairs or weather-related damage.
