Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an IT Support Specialist – Backfill to provide on-site technical assistance when full-time engineers are unavailable. The role covers desktop/laptop troubleshooting, hardware and printer support, and Office 365 issues across Mac and Windows environments.

You will perform IMAC activities, manage IT inventory, ensure SLA adherence, and collaborate with vendors for escalations while delivering high-touch end-user support during events and meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting of desktops/laptops.
• Hardware and peripherals support experience.
• Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, LAN).
• Printer setup and troubleshooting experience.
• Office 365 support familiarity.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Inventory management and vendor coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software per organizational standards.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities for IT assets.
• Handle hardware and software troubleshooting, including break-fix support.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and escalations.
• Manage and maintain IT inventory, including asset tracking and documentation.
• Perform system imaging for laptops and desktops.
• Support printer setup, troubleshooting, and network printer installations.
• Assist in conference room setup, AV support, and meeting room technologies.
• Provide VIP/end-user support with high-touch service.
• Support Office 365-related issues and general user account troubleshooting.
• Install and troubleshoot compliance/security software.
• Provide support for Mac devices alongside Windows systems.
• Ensure adherence to defined SLAs.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Support after-hours activities, events, and recurring meetings when required.
