Job summary

J.V. Angeles Construction Corporation is seeking an Equipment Staff at our Head Office in Pasig.

The role supports the Equipment / Operations department by ensuring proper management, maintenance, documentation, and utilization of company-owned and rented equipment, in line with safety standards and project needs. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree or technical qualification, and strong record-keeping, Excel skills, and coordination abilities to keep

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
A technical or vocational qualification related to heavy equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Monitor the daily deployment and utilization of construction equipment at project sites.
Maintain accurate records of equipment movement, operating hours, fuel consumption, and utilization.
Prepare and update daily equipment monitoring reports and equipment status reports.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Operators, and Mechanics regarding equipment requirements and availability.
Monitor equipment preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate maintenance activities with the concerned personnel.
Report equipment breakdowns, defects, damages, and other mechanical issues to the Equipment Supervisor.
Assist in coordinating the repair and maintenance of equipment.
Monitor the condition and proper use of company-owned and rented equipment.
Ensure equipment is used only for authorized project activities.
Maintain and organize equipment-related documents (inspections, maintenance records, rental agreements, receipts, checklists).
Monitor rental periods and coordinate extensions or replacements with suppliers.
Assist in documenting equipment delivery and return conditions.
Monitor fuel issuance and consumption and report anomalies.
Conduct periodic physical inventory and equipment inspections.
Coordinate with Accounting and Procurement on rentals, maintenance, and related documentation.
Ensure operator daily reports and operating-hour records are submitted.
Verify equipment utilization against project requirements and schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and site requirements.
Report unauthorized use or damage to equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
