Job summary
Frontiertowersphilippines is seeking a highly motivated Power Support Technician to join our technical support team. You will provide efficient technical support for power systems, including RMS, rectifiers, batteries, ATS/MTS, AC systems and generators, ensuring reliability and uptime.
You will diagnose power problems, respond to incidents, assist with upgrades, maintain documentation, and adhere to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with professional certification.
- 2+ years of electrical system maintenance experience.
- Experience with telecom power infrastructure.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals.
- Proficient in using testing equipment (multimeters, battery testers).
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power systems.
- Investigate and diagnose power-related issues using testing equipment.
- Respond promptly to power incidents and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with engineering and facilities for upgrades.
- Maintain documentation and asset records.
- Ensure safety compliance with electrical codes.
- Provide training and guidance to team members.
- Liaise with suppliers for parts and SLAs.
