Job summary

Frontier Tower Associates seeks a proactive Power Support Technician to maintain and troubleshoot our power systems, including RMS and associated infrastructure. The role involves in-house inspections, diagnostics, and implementing fixes to ensure reliability.

The position requires a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years in related work. You will work with engineering, facilities, and vendors to improve uptime and safety across power networks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with certification.
• 2+ years in electrical system maintenance or power infrastructure.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide in house support for inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power systems (rectifiers, batteries, ATS/MTS, AC systems, RMS, generators).
• Investigate and diagnose power-related issues (voltage fluctuations, outages, equipment faults) using testing equipment.
• Respond to power incidents promptly and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Be on call as second line support for emergency power situations and rapid restoration.
• Collaborate with engineering and facilities to plan power upgrades or expansions.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and update asset management system.
• Adhere to safety protocols and electrical codes while working with power systems.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on power-related issues.
• Liaise with power equipment suppliers to schedule maintenance and procure parts.
• Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
