edamama (BeanLab Inc) is seeking a Senior Retail Operations Manager to oversee profitability, inventory, and in-store processes across multiple stores in Metro Manila. The role partners with regional managers to optimize staffing, merchandising, and vendor relations while driving omnichannel initiatives.
You will analyze KPIs, manage budgets, and lead cross‑functional teams across sales, marketing, HR, and finance to deliver operational excellence.
Store Profitability & Commercial Strategy: Analyze multi-store P&L performance, track foot traffic metrics, and implement commercial initiatives to increase basket size, conversion rates, and overall retail revenue as discussed with other stakeholders.
Inventory & Visual Merchandising Operations: Coordinate with the buying and supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and execute high-impact visual merchandising layouts that drive impulse buys.
In-Store Process Optimization: Streamline day-to-day store operations, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling protocols, inventory auditing, and loss prevention measures.
Labor & Resource Allocation: Partner with regional managers to implement data-driven scheduling, ensuring stores are optimally staffed during peak traffic windows while managing labor budgets effectively.
Vendor & Lease Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for retail vendors, third‑party service providers, and property landlords to resolve facility, maintenance, or logistics issues quickly.
Cross‑Functional Leadership: Coordinate with sales, marketing, HR, and finance teams to ensure operational excellence.
Financial Oversight: Manage department budgets, monitor cash flow, and help forecast operational expenses.
Omnichannel Integration: Collaborate with the e‑commerce and digital marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of omnichannel initiatives, such as In‑app Purchases, Grab, Gift Registry and Store‑to‑door Purchases.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: 4+ years of experience in retail operations, multi‑unit store management, or a commercial operations role specifically within physical retail.
Data Literacy: Strong proficiency in analyzing retail KPIs (e.g., GMROI, sales per square meter, inventory turnover, foot traffic analytics).
Technical Skills: Hands‑on experience with modern Retail POS systems, Google Suite, and workforce scheduling tools.
Leadership: Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and lead store managers across multiple physical locations.
