Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. seeks a Service Officer reliever to support branches during leaves and staffing gaps in the Negros Occidental area.

The role involves stepping in for the Service Officer, aligning with Area Head and Area Operations Officer on schedules, and ensuring seamless handover of documents. The reliever will be responsible for maintaining branch targets, following bank policies, and reporting incidents.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to serve as Service Officer reliever as needed.
• Ability to coordinate schedules with Area Head and Area Operations Officer.
• Maintain confidentiality of passwords and information.

Responsibilities

• Relieve branches with officers on extended leave or as assigned.
• Coordinate with Area Head on reliever schedule and coverage.
• Take full responsibility for the relived Service Officer’s tasks and branch targets.
• Ensure proper handover of documents and information after relieving duties.
• Report incidents to Area Head/Area Operations Officer/Branch Head.
• Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible to report as a Service Officer reliever in the area/branches or whenever and wherever support or additional manpower complement is needed.

Duties & responsibilities

Operations:

• 1. Acts as a Service Officer reliever to branches with officers on extended leave, maternity leave or as assigned by the Area Head.
• 2. Coordinates with Area Head and Area Operations Officer on his/her schedule as Service Officer reliever.
• 3. Assumes full responsibility of the Service Officer being relieved including its key result areas, job description, branch targets and all other key success factors.
• 4. Ensures that all documents, transactions, forms and other pertinent information being handled in the branch is properly turned over to the Branch Head and/or Service Officer before returning to the area office after relieving duties is complete.
• 5. Reports any untoward incidents or situations to Area Head / AOO / Branch Head.
• 6. Gives recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
• 7. Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
