The Officer in Charge (OIC) oversees daily retail operations ensuring consistent execution of store policies, customer service standards, and sales goals. In a retail environment focused on power tools and related equipment, the OIC also serves as a product expert and team leader, managing staff, resolving customer issues, and ensuring the store is safe, well-organized, and fully stocked.
