Job summary

John Clements Family seeks a Senior Associate, Core Operations (Income Processing). You will perform daily income processing and validation for Fixed Income and Equity, validate accruals, perform cash reconciliations, and maintain SOPs and reports.

Requires 5–9 years in Investment Banking or related operations, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to work with global stakeholders on shifting/rotational schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily income processing and validation for Fixed Income and Equity securities.
• Validate accruals, amortization, and income calculations per client policies.
• Perform cash reconciliations and resolve cash breaks.
• Ensure deliverables meet SLA timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
• Generate reports and support data analysis using Excel and reporting tools.
• Investigate processing exceptions and escalate risks to stakeholders.
• Participate in process-improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams and global stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Deliver high-quality client service while ensuring policy compliance.

• At least 5-9 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Middle Office, Capital Markets, Fund Accounting, Custody Operations, or Investment Operations.
• Experience in Income Processing, Corporate Actions, Fund Accounting, or Middle Office Operations within an Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Financial Services environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Investment Management and Custody Operations is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of capital markets, trade lifecycle, fixed income securities, and dividend processing.
• Familiarity with Middle Office and Custody processes, including upstream and downstream workflows.
• Understanding of operational risks and controls related to Income and Corporate Action processing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to work on a shifting schedule.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Perform daily income processing and validation for Fixed Income and Equity securities.
• Validate accruals, amortization, and income calculations based on client-specific policies.
• Perform cash reconciliations and investigate and resolve cash breaks.
• Ensure assigned deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed SLAs.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
• Generate reports and support data analysis using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
• Investigate and escalate processing exceptions, operational issues, and risks to appropriate stakeholders.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams and global stakeholders to resolve operational queries.
• Deliver high-quality client service while ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls.

What We Value

• Professional certifications such as CISI, CFA, FRM, CPA, NISM, or NSE are an advantage but not required.
