THIS ROLE
In this entry-level corporate secretarial position, you will be responsible for delivering basic corporate secretarial services under supervision. You will focus on standardized processes and routine administrative operations while developing core competencies. You will handle low-complexity tasks within established frameworks.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- You will execute basic corporate secretarial tasks following established procedures
- You will maintain accurate documentation and records within defined guidelines
- You will support routine administrative operations with guidance and follow quality control processes and compliance requirements
- You will develop understanding of basic corporate secretarial requirements and draft basic minutes and board papers using template
- You will process routine regulatory filings with relevant authorities and update and maintain statutory books and records
- You conduct basic file reviews following checklists and support document preparation for meetings
- Maintain client databases with guidance and monitor basic statutory deadlines
- You will respond to routine administrative queries and complete detailed operational checklists

ABOUT YOU
- You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Legal Management, Juris Doctor or related field; Additional certifications such as Chartered Secretary, LL.B (pre-law), or related paralegal qualifications are an advantage
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a corporate secretarial, administrative, or similar role
- Youhave an experience in managing client service operations and handling multiple deliverables and familiarity with CAS systems and/or corporate secretarial software is a plus
- You have exposure to corporate secretarial practices, particularly in funds and special-purpose vehicles, is an advantage.
- You are proficient in drafting minutes, board papers, and processing regulatory filings with accuracy
- You have a strong understanding of maintaining statutory books, records, and client databases
- You have the ability to adhere to compliance and quality control standards
- You are skilled in using operational checklists and meeting statutory deadlines
- You have a strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills
